01:58 PM by Bob Russell in Archive | Handhelds and Smartphones Tapwave, the maker of the Zodiac PalmOS gaming PDA, has shared a bit of their vision for the future. The information is via a Tapland article and Byron Connell, the Sr VP of Marketing at Tapwave. Sounds like they are aiming for multiple co-branded multimedia devices, and a strengthening of the platform for those purposes. There is also a list of new developments on the Zodiac front that will be good news for Zodiac fans. While you're there, be sure to check out the rest of the Tapland site. One of the features I've noticed is that they always seem to have a list of the best SD card deals there on the front page. |

A warning: Any ROM flash can be dangerous and potentially render your device useless. You should definitely look at the master rom file listing (PDF) first to see which files are safe to delete and which ones should stay in the ROM. Also check out this step by step FAQ by Mytreo.net. |

10:25 PM by Bob Russell in Miscellaneous | Lounge It's the battle of the decade from my standpoint. I don't think there will be a single winner, at least for a very long time because both sides have some valid points and there is a place for each. Check out a renewal of the discussion in the Palm Addicts forum. |
