O'Reilly Asterisk free e-book download

03:16 PM by Alexander Turcic in E-Book General | Deals and Resources (No...

Asterisk is an open source system than runs on Linux and can be used with existing phone systems to integrate VoIP. If you want to learn more, don't miss O'Reilly Asterix: The Future of Telephony offered as a free e-book download [PDF]. Their server is currently terribly slow; perhaps they should upgrade from Microsoft-IIS/6.0 to Apache.

PalmAddict's Sammy reviews the Palm Treo 650

09:39 AM by Alexander Turcic in Archive | Handhelds and Smartphones

Sure the Palm Treo 650 isn't the latest device on the market, with the Treo 700w to come out soon. Yet, since nobody can question Sammy's expertise when it comes to playing with Palm handhelds, his latest observations on the Treo 650 are definitely a recommended read if you're interested in a Palm expert's opinion.

The Treo 650 is a marvel, it is a lot better than what I anticipated and it could even replace the Tungsten C but we will see once I have got the WiFi Sled and I will see how this will work

I was talking privately with Peter Arts and I was saying that I was afraid to say that the Treo 650 would actually replace my Tungsten C. And in the six years that I have been running Palm Addict I have never felt so much enthusiasm about a Palm device.
