I would order a Poetic Revolution for my Fire HD 6 in a heartbeat, if the screen protector was matte (anti-glare). I need that. I sent them a note about it.

The battery life on my HD6 isn't bad at all. 24 hours idle and it lost 5%. My Samsung on the other hand lost about 13% overnight.

Now watch cause I said that the battery life will tank.

I'm not happy with my poetic slimline case. Unlike all the others I own it has a very flimsy front flap. It seems to be too long width wise so it doesn't lay flat when close.

I never know why people do that, Wait until Christmas. I mean if you know what it is I would just enjoy it now watch some holiday movies, read some holiday books and listen to some holiday music on it.

I can wait until Xmas. I love to wrap my own present, then put it under the tree. We open our presents on the 24th, and of course it is nicer to watch the kids open theirs but I also am excited with mine. My Birthday is on the 17th and I do the same for that.

My kids themselves will now go shopping with me for their Xmas presents (I do buy some alone as a surprise too) and then help me put the bags in the "secrets" closet, and then will always make a big fuss about not opening the closet anymore. It is hilarious.
They are 14 and 10, but the little one does not believe in Santa since she was 6 (thank you kids at school...) and yet they are still totally into the magic of being together, decorating the house, having nice food and opening our presents together.

ok, now I am going nuts. After purchasing the Asus Me572 yesterday, this morning I get an email from Amazon saying that the Fire HDX is on sale for $139! I do like the Asus from what I saw in the store and the battery life is supposed to be awesome, but....I could save some money by going with the hdx. (I have not opened the box to really dig into the tablet because my husband would like for me to wait until Christmas. I came close to opening it last night, but my man gave me the puppy dog look of hurt and sadness and I placed the box back into the closet.)

I do have prime.(but I can access the streaming from my nook hd+ so I think the Asus would handle it as well)
I currently use Kindle unlimited.(that content is also accessible from the Kindle App I think)
I want the tablet for reading, internet browsing, watching movies and videos, email, facebook.
I would rarely use it for pictures.
I do like having wallpaper, but I wouldn't die without it.

What do you all think I should do? Bring the Asus back and get the HDX, or keep the Asus?
