Odd one. Probably not affect many users.
New Bug; MDE (single ) , Custom column: Text predefined values. 2 Monitors. #2 over the Primary. MDE window on #2. Click the pull-down arrow on the custom column, the selection list opens as a not quite detached list on the lower monitor where the Library GUI is. The top of that list is aligned with the top of the monitor and is directly below where it belongs. |

@theducks: That sounds like a Qt bug, hard for me to workaround as I dont have any dual monitor machines to test with. Hopefully it will be fixed in Qt sooner or later.

This was caused by chrome changing to reporting fractional pixels for scroll position. Fixed in next release.

Everything a-ok, got my keyboard back
![]() And tks for the next previous section shortcuts - I'm often looking at one file multi-chapter epubs. Now I can tap Ctrl+PgDn a few times to get to Chapter 11 ![]() I guess if I have to have a cover, a generic template is better than a photocopy of page 1. But it was ![]() ![]() ![]() BR |

You're welcome and if looking at covers really bothers you, the way to fix that might be to use the start guide/landmark in your EPUBs to specify they should open at the first page not at the cover. However, I'm not sure if I have implemented support for that in the viewer, I *think* I have but dont remember.

I'll give it a try, but now I have a fixed template (Silver Block) I'll probably leave it as is.

Yes it will be since the popup uses the same user stylesheet as the main text. Use the class book-content-popup-container to override for the popup

You could use a different approach: put all the notes on separate file at the end of the book, and mark it as non-linear. It will be hidden of the main flow - for most e-readers -, but it's still visible - on a pop-up, for calibre - when the user click on a footnote reference. Using the class override, as Kovid suggested, will fix you problem on calibre, but the text will still be invisible on other reading systems. Last edited by thiago.eec; 10-01-2019 at 10:43 AM. |

For example, if the comments field is:
Code:
<div> <p>This is an <em>italic </em>test link.</p></div> Code:
<div> <p>This is an <a href="https://www.mobileread.com/forums/">italic test link</a>.</p></div> Code:
<div> <p>This is an <a href="https://www.mobileread.com/forums/"><em>italic </em>test link</a>.</p></div> Code:
<div> <p>Testing a link.</p></div> Code:
<div> <p>Testing a <a href="https://www.mobileread.com/forums/">link</a>.</p></div> Code:
<div> <p>a hy<strong>per</strong>link</p></div> Code:
<div> <p>a <a href="https://www.mobileread.com/forums/">hyperlink</a></p></div> Last edited by Geremia; 10-01-2019 at 04:23 PM. |

@Geremia: insert hyperilnk removing formatting is indeed an issue with Qt, which I will work around. But I still cannot replicate it not inserting a link at all.
