But seriously, I think a global language wouldn't be too bad. Should improve progress at the expense of cultural diversity.

The 'weirdo' part, that is. As for the computer, I am only on the PC here at work. After work, however, is different. After work, I go home, and get on the PC and watch wonderful shows like Q.I., Arrested Development, and my favourite BBC sitcom ever.. Black Books.

Lemme go look up Terry & June. I'll get back with ye. But yeah, Black Book is my fave. Manny is too hilarious. I also like Father Ted, and I've seen some My Hero, and Yes Minister as well. Being in the U.S., and in Arkansas, on top of that, I am a bit deprived on true culture. If it wasn't for torrenting the vids, I'd never have known anything. For example, I only knew about Father Ted when I heard the BBC host talk about it after an episode of Black Books. Boom, I went and searched for a torrent to see, and yes, quite funny. And Q.I. mentioned about Jonathan Creek, so I naturally had to check that as well. I currently own every episode. I love to hate Maddy. I wish Caroline would come back. Sorry for the off-topic post. What were we talking about again?

Ahh. gotcha. I suppose, as a Yank, any British sitcom is BBC Comedy. To be honest, I didn't know what 'channel' they were on. I assumed all channels in England were BBC stations. Channel 4 = BBC4. Our mediais very different. You never hear CBS tell you to switch over to NBC for anything. |
