How to refresh a book cover?
I've updated a book cover using Calibre, but the Kobo reader doesn't seem to understand this and seems to use a cached cover in both the UI and screensaver.
How can I force the device to refresh the book cover and update to what's currently actually in the .epub file? |

Sigh... not allowed to edit the topic.
EDIT: Nope, Calibre screwed up. I edited the book in my library, and on disk it's the updated cover. I then sent the book to the device (where it already exists) and Calibre actually overwrote the book (because I checked the date) but used the *old* cover for some ungodly reason. So, instead I opened the .epub manually on the device and replaced the cover manually... unfortunately, this caused the Kobo device to see this as a new book and I lost all my annoations and reading position. Is there any way to get those back? Can I manually transfer the meta data over somehow? |
