Thumbs up Kindle 3 frozen

My Kindle 3 is frozen on sleep screen. I tried many "time combinations" to restart my Kindle. But it did not work. Then thin stripes are appeared on the screen - see picture 1.

I thought that the screen is broken. So I disassembled Kindle and the screen seems to be OK - see picture 2.

I measured voltage of battery. Battery has 4.1 V. When I plug Kindle to PC, I can see the storage, I can move or delete files and so on. Firmware of Kindle is 3.3_B008 and I updated the firmware 8 years ago.

Please do you have any advices/ideas what to do with my Kindle? Should I replace the screen? Or...?

Thank you in advance for your opinions.

Time for a new Kindle. Don't try to repair such an outdated model. You'll love the front-lighting on the Paperwhite.

Screen looks fine. Perhaps the electronics have died. It's probably not worth trying to repair.

If you must have a Kindle 3 Keyboard, get a working second-hand one. There are plenty on eBay for very little. Otherwise the current base Kindle model is very good value.
