Kindle 4 NT Frozen at Screensaver

Hi Guys, my kindle 4 non touch is currently stuck at the screensaver/ad screen, and is unresponsive. I've tried pressing the power button for 40 seconds to do a reset but nothing happens. I've plugged it into my mac, and the orange LED lights up, but my mac doesn't detect it.

Is there any way to solve this problem?

@aurorasparadox: Did you try the hard-reboot (the ~30s power button thing) while it was plugged? If you did, that's why it didn't work, it needs to be unplugged for that to work

If it really was unplugged, try letting it charge (preferably with a proper wall charger, not a computer) for ~24H, and try again.

PS: My kindle was fully charge 3-4, and was working before this problem arose.

Hi guys, I've tried the wall charging method as NiLuJe suggested, and now my kindle is fully charged(LED turned off). However, my kindle is still unresponsive. The hard reboot method still doesn't work.

Is there a way to fix this?

Unfortunately, I'm from Singapore, and I didn't purchased my kindle from the amazon store(they don't ship to Singapore), so I don't think my kindle is covered with a warranty.
