I'm never quite sure whether to call Mary Stewart's books romantic suspense (and post here), or to call them suspenseful romance (and post them in romance).

Paris In the Dark is the fourth and most recent (2018) in the Christopher Marlowe Cobb series by Robert Olen Butler. I loved the first title in this series, The Hot Country, and have enjoyed the next two as well. Thanks for that. I've been picking up these Mary Roberts Rinehart novels and swapping out the perfectly acceptable modern covers with the wonderful old pulp covers.
