I never changed the weight of fonts on the Glowlight. I should have. Thicker Baskerville is very nice. |

On Kobo, reading kepubs, Georgia's okay. But I don't know. The font seems too narrow. On Kobo I use Literata Book, which looks a lot like Georgia on my Nook.
Here's a picture of the same book/chapter on both my Kobo and Nook, both using Georgia. The Kobo is displaying kepub, the Nook, ePub. I did my best to match the two in font size and so forth. The difference is subtle. But to me the Nook looks better. I haven't tried ePub on Kobo, because I prefer the features of kepub. I do know that ePub on Kobo is supposed to display fonts better. Can you direct me to the thread where I can learn how to load or change fonts?

Thanks Koboy, with the longer threads, I am not sure what is current or outdated or where I should jump in.
Thanks Zod! |

I actually don't have a fonts folder. Do I create it?

That is a really bad idea. I have seen some eBooks where the use of sans-seif and/or monospace should be left alone. Also a really bad idea is converting every one of your eBooks even if they are in ePub.

Many books I read have either formatting or OCR errors which I need to fix. I treat the first read through of any ebook as a proof read. So I don’t mind standardising the typography at the same time. |

As for the fonts, if the eBook uses sans-serif and/or monospace but they are not the main font, then I would leave them. With the main font being your choice, you get the same font, same font size, and same line height for most of the eBook. I have seen some eBooks where monospace is used in a way that you do want to keep it. |
