I did see that, but it doesn't say that it is a cellular model. Certainly from the price you'd have to assume so, but normally, it actually says that because you pay extra for that. Maybe I'm missing something. No matter. Not in my price range, so I wouldn't be getting it.

Huh? It specifically states:

Kindle Paperwhite – Now Waterproof with more than 2x the Storage, Free 4G LTE + Wi-Fi

It's also on the customize page.

The brand new Voyage and Paperwhite on Woot are overstock of Int'l 3G so cellular won't work in US. However, it's incorrect to say the newest Kindles don't have cellular options.

When I click on that link, I get a page that does not mentioned the 4G LTE. Very weird. Thanks though. We were seeing two different things!

Actually, this one says "FYI: These tablets started life as "International 3G" versions. Unfortunately, the 3G connectivity does not work in North America. Due to this, we're marketing them as Wi-Fi Only models."

Aside: I'm tempted, but £100 plus VAT and P&P (even assuming they sold internationally, which I doubt) is a bit much while my original Voyage is still going!

Okay. I just read the titles. Thanks for the correction.

EDIT: It looks like the refurbished ones don't have the same disclaimer.
