That would sure work, but it's a shame that it has to be another gadget that needs to be washed and stored (not to mention different sizes being needed for different sized cans).

I'm mostly bummed out that I never foresaw the potential downside.

I can't say I have an issue with the new design. When unused my K2 I think I recall switching hands but my DX only has buttons on one side so I've gotten out of the habit.

The deal breaker here would be the size. I've between spoiled by ther the DX. It's bulkier than K2 and all the newer models for that matter but none of them fire in my pocket so I end up with it under my arm or in my hand.

Even with the weight penalty ands I've gotten in the habit of taking my reader out of its case to read the bigger screen is worth it.

If they had gone with an 8 inch screen I really would have considered it to get wifi and a higher resolution. But for now I'll stick with the DX.

While a thin bezel looks attractive, I find it less so in use. For a phone that you can hold in one hand, yes, for a device that will be gripped at the bezel, no.

If you make the bezel that thin, there'll be only one way to hold the reader: at the thicker bezel side. With a thicker bezel, you might want to hold it at the thicker bezel side, but you can hold it on the other 3 sides as well, if you want, without touching the screen.

Extended battery life on a device that already runs for at least 10 days with normal usage

Because I sideload books, I only need to recharge on rare occasions. It sometimes happens when I read two or three very long books one after another, which have been side-loaded earlier. Normally, I only have 3-5 books on the Kindle, and it recharges while I side-load. At that point it often stays connected to the computer for some time. It then has enough power to last until I'm going to load a book next time.

I only get tuna packed in spring water. When I open the can, the water springs out leaving dry tuna behind.

I don't have a cat, apparently olive oil gives a dog a shiny glossy coat, but smear anything in oil and it's shiny and glossy.

When you buy in water are you on a boat, in a flood or getting very fresh tuna?
