IMO.

The current Kobo firmware is not unstable. I've not had a single problem. I've not read of problems that are not user error and if it was unstable, we'd have read a number of posts mentioning this.

Kobo's firmware is not perfect, but don't say bits are unstable that are stable.

Then please do us all a favor and don't say things about Kindle if you don't want others commenting on the Kobo.
For what it is worth, I have a few books I grabbed at Kobo that I cannot open on my Kobo.
And customer service couldn't figure it out either.
So yeah the Kobo is great for sideload and public domain but not always their new books.
I have never had that problem with Amazon.

I'm only saying not to say things that are not true. Saying that the Kobo font handling/formatting options is unstable untrue.

Sure you could have problems if there is something off with the font you've chosen to use. But that's like ADE not displaying your CSS formatting when you have an error in the CSS.

I don't care. I don't have an opinion on Kobo's firmware. I only have strong opinion about you trying to stop people from expressing theirs.

The Kobo firmware is unstable. I've had weird things happen with my Kobo.

Or, are you using a different definition of 'unstable' than the rest of us?

If all you had done was give a reason why you don't like to use a Kindle, I would have had no issue with your post.
