Exactly; this second part is what I was just about to say.

Although, special offers are technically not a different model; it's merely a software addition. But I guess the list's primary focus was all the different release dates, regardless of the model type.

Funny thing is, I prefer my kindles without Special Offers (because of the sleep/wake feature of the covers). However, I always order them with Special Offers, simply because it allows me to get the device cheaper, and then later when I have an extra $20 to blow, that's when I'll buy out of the adds.

Why? If you are tired of a thread don't read it.
But please do not tell the mods what they should do.
I think though I may be wrong that everyone on this forum will know when November is over so no need to lock.
Oh and it is only the 23rd so November has one more week.

Also, even when November is over, what harm is there to allow us to continue chatting about related issues? They might not be precisely on topic to the thread's title, but most are at least related in someway. And we're enjoying the discussions.

Maybe they can just change the title without l locking the thread.

And yeah, locking threads is best avoided until/unless there is a compelling need beyond "no longer relevant".

But lets hold off on that for a week.

Amazon may yet surprise us. They did after all tell people calling CS that there was going to be one, you never know.

Well, if the moderator does lock the thread now with the announcement that it's now plain there'll be no new Voyage in November I think we can all agree that Amazon will announce the new one within the next hour. It always works that way. That's what makes life interesting.

So if you want to assure there'll be a new Voyage locking this thread might be the way to make it happen.

However, even though I'm one who would buy the new Voyage if it came out, I'm enjoying this thread more than I'd probably enjoy the new device so I'm not sure that's a good tradeoff.

Besides, Christmas is not supposed to be about gifts but about celebrating Jesus. Look where that ended up.

Did you happen to notice that one of the posters separated Christmas and GiftMas.
Oh and just for useless trivia, the Jehovah Witnesses do not give Christmas presents.
I think they fall under Christians as to their beliefs.
