Rumour has it That....
Rumour has it That Kobo is going to be releasing something new and exciting soon.....

So we keep hearing these types of rumours so lets start putting them down.

This thread is for the rumour mill of new up and coming Kobo advancements in hardware, firmware, bio-ware etc.

I'd be thrilled with a 6" reader with infrared touch and a front light, with firmware that works completely as it should and doesn't get updated every month with new bugs.

Where did you hear the rumor? If it was from the same source as your firmware releases, this sounds promising.

I hope, but I doubt. People have 5+" phones so the Mini didn't sell that well.

As a Sony addict - but not a user of the Store - I thought I'd look at Kobo readers to see if they had changed/improved since I last looked a while ago.
I found, first, in the UK the Mini isn't available, and, the site seemed reluctant to show me readers, being much more interested in telling me about the Arc tablets ......

So are Kobo also going to ease out of the reader market ................. ?

It seems unlikely....but you never know. The Kobo Mini, however, has been discontinued, from what I understand. I think their readers are an awesome product and I certainly hope they will keep making them!

What rumor?

Is there a rumor somewhere?

Where is this rumor?

Can someone define rumor for me?

If I knew there was a rumor about, I wouldn't have bought all those Kobo readers. After all, with a rumor afoot, why would I want to enjoy a Kobo reader for a year or two, when I could have been sitting on my butt looking at a dust mote floating toward the couch?

Can someone tell me this rumor?
