Mr Shield is the one I got, and I like it very much.

I was looking at Mr Shield for my Fire Phone when it ever shows up. So they are good quality? I don't use Screen Protector on tablets but on a phone I need a TPU case and Screen protector if my husband goes anywhere near it even to make one call!

Feels really sturdy too.

The text on the KF6 is really sharp compared to the 7. The fonts are also darker on the Kindle Reader than the 7. The only thing is Amazon never intends to fix the line spacing issue on the Fires that is fix on the Android app. I don't know why that is.

You mean not being able to change the line spacing? I am reading one where I can't change it, but others I can. Doesn't always seem to be consistent formatting. I actually like Georgia font on the 6, when on the Nexus, I prefer the caecelia.
Really glad I got it though. Its just so cute and just the right size. I am probably though the only one thankful it not too super thin. I actually have something to grab onto with this one. But then I am also one that thinks the shape of the K1 was the most reader friendly ergonomic device ever made. It was made for my hands. Everything is getting so thin now which can make it harder to hold for me. I can hold this in one hand , which I couldn't really do with the nexus. My hands are small I guess and my wrists are bad.

Now when I pick up the Nexus, it looks and feels HUGE compared to the baby fire.

In my opinion, the Mr Shield is a good quality screen protector.

You might consider the Poetic Revolution for the Fire Phone. TPU case and screen protector in a really protective configuration.

No I mean the spacing options are different. On the Android app they are closer together on the Fires they are father apart. So option 1 on the Android app is not the same as Option 1 on the Fire. I would say option 2 on the Android is Option 1 on the Fire. The spacing is ridiculous.

I noticed this the other night on the Fire. I thought the spacing was off and kept clicking Option 1, making sure it was selected. The line spacing is still too far apart. Would like to use a bigger font size with tighter spacing at times. On the Fire I have to settle for the smaller size to get more text on the screen because of the line spacing.

I agree! My spouse recently "borrowed" my Kindle Keyboard, so I've been reading on the Fire HD 6. Both text and photos look amazingly good! We've been watching lots of videos, too. I'm 100% happy with my little Fire.

I'm noticing battery drain on KF6 compared to the KF7.

I don't have many apps installed but it seems to not save battery like my KFHD7.2 does.

I don't have a KF7, so I can't compare battery life between the two devices.

If you haven't already, I suggest you go into Settings > Power Management and turn on Smart Suspend to see if that makes any difference. Maybe reboot, too.

Mine doesn't have great battery life. Use it for a few hours, and it's half drained.

Same here and Smart suspend doesn't seem to be working as good as it does on the 7"

and even if I turn off WiFi I am losing about 8% in less than 24 hours. On the 7 I don't lose anything but maybe 2% a couple of days.

I been pretty much charging mine everyday. Its either I don't want to get too low when I go to bed so I charge it up in the afternoon, Or I'll make it through the night and then have to plug it in in the morning. It doesn't seem to lose a lot when its sleeping, but when I use it, it goes down fast.
I know with my Nexus, I can go 20 hours with just reading and wifi off. Heck, my Nexus has better battery life than my PW1. I don't have a fire 7 to compare. I figure they have a smaller battery in this one?

I'll just plug it in everyday I guess, or 1.5 days. Depends on how far I get with the charge. I can't stand when I get too low on any of my devices, I get all OCD and constantly check battery level then.

I also haven't been able to make any of the battery apps work with it correctly. GSAM is off and HD battery isn't working right either.
