Touch White Screen

My Kobo was in sleep mode then when I tried to read it again it wouldn't turn on so I turned it off. When trying to turn it on it factory reset now it just has a white screen. It can charge and has a blinking blue light but nothing works. I have tried the reset with a paper clip still nothing.
Please help me!

I'm assuming you have a Kobo Touch. You can force a factory reset as follows:

- hold the power button "ON" for 10-15 seconds to make sure the device truly is off
- press and hold the home button
- turn the Kobo Touch on as normal and it should go into a factory reset

If that doesn't work, then you may have a hardware problem. Hopefully this works for you.

thanking robko for being able to explain how to force a factory reset. I spent 15 mins on the phone with customer service trying to achieve this. It didn't work. Why? I hear you ask...because the customer service guy didn't know what he was talking about. He was telling me I had to press both home and power buttons at the same time and hold them for 15 seconds. I have now forced a reset but my touchscreen still doesn't work
