Sony is thought to be in 2nd place in EInk Reader sales (after the Kindle), with about 400K overall see Sony Reader figures: +100K in four months?. Note that these are sales figures directly from Sony, vs unconfirmed "reports" for the Kindle.

One thing to be aware of is that many people bought "Kindles" over the Christmas season and were given Kindle 2s because supply ran out. So it has really been selling since the end of November.
