Calibre not starting on Win11

Suddenly my calibre install does not work. The splash screen appears, and disappears. And that's it.

tried uninstall and reinstall lastest download from calibre site. Same effect.

Debug output does not help me, other than db seems not intitializing.

Please give solutions to solve or troubleshoot. I like to find some sheet music in my music library.

My setup has the books and db synced to a server. So the books are stored locally, as is the database.
No plugins are installed. Just the out of box calibre setup, and 2 libraries.

If i rename the metadata.db file, then calibre will open. So apparently the file is corrupted. How can i repair my libraries?

On the Library Icon IN CALIBRE:Right-click: Maintenance: Restore database

This uses the OPF files found in the books folder to bring the db to the latest. Not all the data contained there is available IF you were to use Add Books
RESTORE IS THE PREFERED METHOD

Thanks to a backup from my server and @theducks tip, I was able to restore the database from an older version, using the menu:
Library - Library Maintenance - Restore Database
