New Win11 laptop can't see my Kindle
Just bought a new Acer laptop with win 11 & it can't see my kindle.
I've had Kindles for years & have never had a problem with any PC being able to see them by just plugging a USB cable into them. Not now however & some of the suggestions on Google are just ridiculous. Any ideas? Larry |

Try a different cable and/or a different USB port?

That rather sounds like either a hardware fault, or something in the system software is blocking access to the USB ports. Hopefully someone with better Windows knowledge will be along shortly.

New Kindles and Android use MTP. Maybe have your MTP drivers checked?

But only Scribe is using MTP currently. This is something else. Last edited by tomsem; 09-20-2024 at 02:54 PM. |

Are you using a USB-C port or a USB-A port to try to connect your Kindle?
