[Plugin] Readest: sync progress, highlights and stats between KOReader and Readest
Hi everyone,
chrox here. I spent years working on KOReader, and these days I work on Readest, an open-source reader for desktop, mobile and web (see my Readest thread in Reading and Management). I still read on e-ink with KOReader, so I wrote a plugin that keeps KOReader and Readest in sync. You can read on your Kobo or Kindle at night and continue on your phone the next day. What it does
Books are matched by KOReader's partial MD5, so the same file on both sides is recognized as the same book. Install
KOReader 2026.07 or newer is recommended. If you only need progress sync, Readest can also connect to a KOReader sync server (kosync) directly, with no plugin needed. Setup guide: https://github.com/readest/readest/w...reader-devices Feedback and bug reports are welcome here or on GitHub (https://github.com/readest/readest/issues). |
