Fix Auto-Delete for Kindle 4th Gen?
Hello there, I recently jailbroke my Kindle 4th Gen, decided I wanted to go off fresh again. I looked online that you need to Factory Reset -> Flash Same Firmware Version (or higher) ,bin file. The issue is that whenever I copy my 4.1.4 file, and try to do it, it auto-deletes, and doesn't let me update. Any help on how to remove jailbreak then?

Storage is dead most probably. It is now read-only. You can test this by uploading a different file, restarting and seeing if it stays
OR slim chance that your Kindle model is actually different that what the bin file targets or it is corrupted, so it gets rejected by Kindle. |
