Windows 10 - Having problem opening HTML files in ebook-viewer

Have several fanfics in my library, imported as with html2zip disabled so they're .html files. Upgraded to 8.11.1 and they started displaying blank.

I reported it on Launchpad and Kovid can't replicate on 11, so I wondering if this is a specific to windows 10 problem. Can anyone else confirm?

By HTML, do you mean ZIP(ed HTML) in the Library?
W10 Calibre 8.11.1 opens for me.

Or are you using the viewer outside of the Library GUI?

They're plain HTML files. I imported them with the HTML2ZIP plugin disabled. opening both inside library and standalone doesn't work.

I only tested on ZIP (HTML) already in my Library.
It may be the import process is now broken.

Try the view specific format on an older, existing ZIP format book

These books were imported well before I installed 8.11.1. I try re-enabling html2zip and seeing what happens.

EDIT: Zips also appear blank.

The Calibre converter is also choking on the files, weirdly.

I wonder if there's something wrong with the original HTML files - I strip out a lot of stuff with the element inspector before sending it into SingleFile, so maybe I broke them?

No errors, just produces a glitched file with no body content. I can try in debug.

Post the conversion log which you can get by clicking the jobs button in the lower right corner then double clicking the conversion job.

Hmm, issue seems be 8.10. Am testing.

EDIT: The cache was affecting it. 8.10 with a cleared cache works. I'll convert all my HTML books to ePub and re-upgrade.
