Is it fixable?
So I love my forma. Especially its plastic substrate screen as it has been dropped many many times over.
But when I took it out of my bag today, the buttons had come off (see pic) Is this fixable? Any suggestions? Is rather not spend the money on a new one. Cash is tight right now but if I had to replace it I'd rather do it while I can still find Formas since the newer models have glass substrates (though I get the impression they are more resilient... Anyways, I'd love any help and input you guys can provide Cheers! |

Wow! Those sheered right off.
I don’t have a Forma, so I can’t speak from experience, but perhaps someone here can say whether those buttons can be reattached. I imagine you’d have to take the Forma apart to be able to access the underside. Do the button still work if you place them back over their old location? |

The buttons still work. Both by placing the detached buttons on it as well as just using my nails
But it's actually hard for me to distinguish which parts are broken and which are raised to press the buttons, they seem almost the same |

Forget the broken buttons and just use the touch screen.
Was the Forma kept in a case? |

I’d imagine you could glue it back you’d just need to find a good place for the glue and a way to apply a thin coat that wouldn’t budge out when you press the button bar down
Though I can’t imagine how this damage could occur. And you’d need to use a pretty powerful glue to prevent it happening again. So lots of room for errors any of which could result in even worse conditions. Maybe buy used and invest in a case because it would seem you’re one of the cases which would get a benefit from that level of protection |
