Is it possible to swap out the internal SD Card on the Libra 2 for a 1TB SD Card?
I know some people have been able to successfully do this swap using a 128gb SD card but since I like downloading lots of high quality Mangas that take up a lot of space and I already have a large library I was wondering if I could do the swap using a 1TB SD Card?
Anyone done this before or know of a tutorial on how to do it? If the libra 2 isn't the right device to do this with is there another device to use? |

For detail, check the Memory Upgrade Mod Guide (With Pictures) thread. If the Libra 2 will not handle a 1TB SDXC µSD card, then none of the other Kobo models will. I would recommend the Sandisk Ultra microSDXC 1TB card, the other two 1TB cards I tested had pathetic small block read/write speeds since they are optimized for video recording. I did put a 128GB SDXC µSD card in a Clara HD and it seems to be working okay other that getting slow when the database size is pushing the RAM size. Also make sure you purchase whichever card you decide to go with from a reputable vendor & site. Too many Amazon vendors are selling either crap or counterfeit crap for me to be happy ordering from Amazon so I picked up one up at the local BestBuy for $2.50 Cdn more than the same card on Amazon.ca. |

Keep in mind you will be compromising the water resistance if you do give this a try.
On the other hand, it looks like this person has done it and had an answer to that too! It does look like a bit of a process. |
