UI improvement for highlights and notes

When the text has a highlight with a note, to delete the highlight you have to either edit the highlight and then choose delete (if you want to first see the note), or long press the highlight and choose unlight (this way you can't see the note). Would it be feasible to have a delete button show also in the note dialog? And related to that, how about a function to highlight and add a note with a single press (now you have to first highlight, and then tap the highlight to add a note).

(1) We've decided to not duplicate the buttons from "Edit highlight" table, they are at just one tap distance.
(2) What is your setting at upper menu - Gear - Taps and gestures - Long-press on text?

Understandable, although those one tap distances crop up when proofreading OCR'd texts and deleting each note once it's been corrected in the epub. Maybe an issue with my unorthodox usage.

As for the second item... now that you asked, I went poking in there, and suddenly realized that if I uncheck the "Dictionary" checkbox, I can pretty much get the behavior I want. The way different options interact with each other can be difficult to figure out...

I typically just highlight, without note. I do the proofreading and the correcting, and not with too much delay, so I usually know what the fix should be just from the highlight (although sometimes I spend some time scratching my head and re-reading the text around to figure out what the problem was).

I often also just highlight it especially if it's an obvious case, but I often might take two or more weeks between reading something and getting back to correcting it, so I find I need to make plenty of notes to remember what I was thinking at the time.
