Water damage help

I have a Clara HD eReader that took on water for a few minutes and after removing and drying all the water and doing a factory reset, the screen still shows gray and black lines. I wonder if it's the motherboard or if the screen is at fault? Your help would be appreciated.

Your screen is broken. Time for a new Kobo.

Unfortunately, it looks like the substrate may be broken. Or...possibly...a loose video connection.

Time for a nice funeral in order to minimize continued future heartbreak.

Thanks Dr. Dib, did check all connexions to no avail. I'll have it to end his days at an electronics graveyard.
