Double-clicking should only select a word: not the enclosing quotation marks
A similar issue to https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=345392
If a word is enclosed in quotation marks, when you double-click the word it should only select the word and not the enclosing quotation marks (at least this is the behaviour in WPs). Unfortunately this does not happen in the Calibre editor – which, AFAICS, is a bug. (I'm not a programmer so unfortunately I can't submit a patch for this.) |

Sigil does the same thing when they are smart quotes or whatever they're called where they're different on the left and right. If you use dumb quotes, the key to the left of the return key on a PC keyboard, it selects only the word.
And I agree, it's annoying. |
