Double-clicking a word also selects em dash and connected word.
Linux Mint 20.1 / Calibre 5.35.
Take a phrase like will-power. If you double click on one half of the word, only that half is selected; the hyphen acts as a selection break. However there is a problem in the Calibre editor if you use an Em dash in a sentence (with no spaces on either side), as is often the case in parentheses. Double-click on a word before or after the em dash, and both words, and the interconnecting em dash, are selected. This is a bug. Last edited by paperback; 02-27-2022 at 07:01 AM. |

A bug in QT apparently. See Double-clicking should only select a word: not the enclosing quotation marks.
