adding tags
Is there any way to add tags "on the fly" to a document while reading it without exiting the reading view?

You can just switch to the Library and add the tag to the metadata there, then when done viewing, Polish the ebook, that will update the internals for the next viewing (note: book must be DRM free for this to succeed)
