Correcting tags after adding

Hi.

I imported several hundred books to my library without thinking about the filename to metadata settings, and I wound up with the titles split between the author and title fields or like this:

Title: My Story Part 1
Author: The Early Years

where the title should actually be "My Story Part 1 - The Early Years"

Any easy way to correct all that in bulk?

If there's not a quick and simple answer to this, I'm sure I can continue my reading and searching and figure it out, but if there is, I'd appreciate it.

Select those books, bulk edit the metadata, go to the search & replace pane and select regex mode. Select authors as source field, "(.*)" as search expression and " - \1" as replace. Further select title as destination field and select "append to field" as mode. That should give you what you want. Remember to pay attention to the test fields below- if those do not look the way you'd like them to, there's something wrong.
