Question Is it possible to make sure that when reading epub each page is always in its place?

Is it possible to make sure that when reading epub in the calibre viewer in page mode, each page is always in its place? I don't like that when flipping back and forth, the right page might end up on the left. There are also other cases of moving (for example, when moving through the table of contents). I wish the pages were always in the same place, just like in a paper book. I have 2 pages-columns are displayed in the viewport. I can use a solution outside of the conditions I described, such as changing the format of the e-book, if it helps. Thank you for your attention.

Simple answer. No
In a paper book, there ARE blank pages to keep things on the even.

2 (page) columns in e-books, simply shows what is next. after the last line of text. There are not normally, blank lines after thetext (depending on the display font, they would be the wrong count anyway

But calibri just shows 1 blank page on the right when we flipping back to the last page of the previous Chapter, if inside the epub file each Chapter is in a separate xhtml file.

Probably, 2-page e-books have the right to behave differently than paper ones, I am not familiar with two-page e-books. However, it is more convenient for me when I scroll back and forth to see the same text in the same place on the screen.

I'm willing to put in the effort and time to tinker, is there a solution to make every page was always in his place?

@camelos, there's a completely new viewer being developed, using the calibre-server viewer code base. The current desktop ebook-viewer is on life support only. The server viewer may already do what you want, and if not you could submit an an enhancement request, see ==>> calibre - Bugs
