Kfx in Calibre yet?

There is a year old thread about this but I wanted to know if the kindle books i downloaded in to Calibre with file names ending in ebok can be coverted yet? Or will I just never be able to read them in Calibre?
I have the most current version of Calibre and kfx plugin.

You need to read this thread ==>> Dealing with Kindle for PC/Mac 1.19 and KFX in calibre. Whilst it was started 2 years ago, the most recent post was last week, and the opening post (where the solutions are defined) was updated the week before that.

Essential actions occur during the import process. If you imported the KFX books into calibre prior to having the KFX Input and DeDRM plugins installed and configured then you will not be able to convert them.

Refer to the thread that BetterRed linked and to the KFX Input plugin thread.

Thank yoyu. I will check it to see if it is a different thread then the one I was reading that had no resolution.

Yes the plug in was installed BEFORE the books were imported. I have consistently updated the plug in as well.

If a KFX book is imported correctly then you will be see KFX format in your library for that book and will be able to convert it. If something went wrong with the original import then conversion will fail and you will need to import again.

Try to convert one of those books and see what happens.
