Hello - Been reading for the last few weeks on the board. Very interesting collection of information, and smart people helping out their fellow eInk readers. Thank you already for all of your collective wisdom.
I'm an IT guy that also is a closet inventor. I've got a few patents, but have been searching for a tool that helps my creative brain flow ideas more regularly without losing tweaking past ideas. I carry several notebooks with me (various stages of ideas) and the iRex DR1000S with the active stylus looks to be the perfect device to replace my old motion computing tablet, that has served me well but lacks the simplicity of these new readers.
I also like the proposal of longer battery life, but have been reading this morning some of the less than desired results.
I've not yet purchased the device - just doing research - but waiting for stock to develop, and hopefully a firmware bump to fix some of the bugs mentioned..
