Send to Device Kindle HD8
I am new with the Kindle Fire HD8 and had some trouble sending files from Calibre on my PC to the Kindle. Most of my files were epub. After much trial and error I found that if I converted to AZW3 and hit "send to device" it worked..... at least I thought so, but found that some of the books did not show up unless you went to the documents folder. I moved the files from the documents folder to the kindle folder and all the books showed up.
Has anyone else done this? Will this cause any problems that you can see? Is there an easier way to do this? |

You can change whatever folder you want to send the books to, as well as customizing what format is sent by right clicking the device icon in calibre and choosing cutomize this device.
