Issue with The Economist recipe

Hi all,

Today I downloaded The Economist - instead of usual I got text only. Where images are supposed to be all I get is question mark. I also noticed that size of a file is decreased to 0,4 mb. I tried to download several times with same results.

Does this sound familiar to anyone or is there a solution to this?

I just tried downloading it it downloaded all pictures for me. Make sure you are using the builtin recipe and not a custom one.

I got the same results with The Economist as Garu: all text, no images. Twice (ten days ago and today).

My recipe is the one found at:

It seems updated "23 days ago".

Then

1) Make sure you are running an updated version of calibre

2) look at the job log and see why the pictures are failing to download.

Thanks Kovid, now it works.

I've been using an older Calibre version (since I'm still on OSX 10.6), but using the latest one the recipe works fine.
