The Economist cover stuck at old issue

For the last couple of weeks the cover of my The Economist news downloads has been stuck at the same cover ("Turning Japanese"), never updating to the current cover. I'm fairly certain the problem began with Calibre version 0.8.12.

Is anybody experiencing the same issue or even found a way to fix this issue?

Make sure you are using the builtin economist recipe and not a custom one.

Thanks for the fast answer. I thought I had tried that before and now did so again et voilà, it worked!

Is there a way to remove the related article links from the original recipe and still have the cover working? Adding 'related-items' to the remove tags section was the only change I made to the build-in recipe.
