Q.Can I jailbreak my paperwhite 5.6.1.1 device without opening the case?
My equipment
Paperwhite 5.6.1.1
Serial starts B01D
Its a wifi+3G model

Can I jailbreak this device without opening the case? By loading firmware and doing the update?

I apologise in advance, if this is a FAQ, I did try searching for "5.6.1.1" and "5.6.1.?"

Also I'm having problem with the CAPTCHAs, taking sometimes 4 attempts.

The possibility of a downgrade on FW 5.6.1.1 on the PW1 appears to be a quirk, it shouldn't be working, which is why the standard reaction to a question with 'FW 5.6.x' and 'downgrade' in it is 'nope' .

I just assume they **should** have found any thread with that string in its title.

Could be they where mis-using our advanced search (after all, they started in the wrong forum, no telling what forum(s) they where searching in).

Try Firefox, or any browser that offers an ad-blocker feature.

The only capcha's I have seen here are on the wiki, and then only if not logged in.

give us some specifics about the "screenreader" you are using - maybe we can come up with some specific help, other than: "use something else".
