Device: In under a month I will have had both Sonys and a Kindle
Sony 505 Reader

I have a like new condition silver sony 505 reader. Comes with charger, computer cable, and software. I don't have the box or manuals, but a manual is included on the device itself (it's an included ebook).

I am looking for $240 shipped (in the U.S.) or best offer.

Yup, I bought a 500 and I LOVED it. Then I bought the 505 because I thought that the little things I didn't like about the 500 would be resolved in the 505 and I would be set. I was right and I was wrong

The 505 is a BRILLIANT reader and would have been a perfect reader for me to start with, but I didn't see it as that big of an upgrade over the 500. So I figured someone should take this impeccable 505 off my hands and I will stick to my (slightly beat up) 500 until I eventually buy a Kindle (only for the wireless connection and auto updated blogs / newspapers).

There really is nothing wrong with the 505, but I know it's too nice to be a "backup" or extra family device (maybe see some use from the girlfriend) when the Kindle arrives and I like the 500 just as much (first love!).

Sorry for the long winded response.. I tend to go on .. and on ... and on

still for sale. Will be putting it up on ebay if no one here wants it.

I could also be persuaded to sell my 500 (and obviously keep the 505) if someone is looking for a lower price option
