Discount on Subterranean Press e-books (Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy) through Gumroad
SFF/horror small press Subterranean has begun offering its e-books directly through Gumroad, and is encouraging readers to try the direct approach by offering short-term Gumroad-exclusive discounts on all titles. Books that are regularly $4.99 or more are temporarily $2.99; books that are regularly $2.99 are temporarily $0.99. Authors published by Subterranean include Robert Silverberg, Lucius Shepard, Thomas Ligotti, Elizabeth Bear, Connie Willis, and many others. For a full list of available titles, click here; there are Gumroad links on each product page. The discounts last until Tuesday, 9/30. Because Gumroad limits users to one region and Subterranean only holds US rights in most cases, these e-books are US-only.

If I express interest in purchasing via Gumroad, it tells me I'll get 2 files, but it doesn't tell me what the two files are. Are they no-DRM epub and Kindle format?

The two files I got for the books I bought were epub and mobi format books. The epub wasn't DRMed.

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate webpages that automatically load the next section when you scroll to the bottom of the page?

Especially when the server can't keep up with the demand!
