Highlight samples in Kindle Device view

This is my first post! Hi Moblereaders.

When viewing the books on my kindle device (from inside Calibre), is there anyway to have Amazon Sample books highlighted somehow highlighted in calibre?

I find myself accidentally copying (and de-drm'ing) samples over from the Kindle and cluttering up my library.

I know is says "Tags: Sample Book" if I click on an individual books, but it would be nice to quickly see what books are samples from the list.

Thanks.

Do a search:

Code:
tags:"=Sample Book"
Also, a couple days ago a new feature was added to allow tags/series to be clickable. When the next release comes out on Friday, you will be able to click on a tag and search for all books with the tag.

Can this be done in reverse? ie. find things that are not samples?

add the word "not" before it:

Code:
not tags:"=Sample Book"

Use the column coloring rules to turn the title (or field of your choice) RED:

Preferences:Look an Feel: Column Coloring:

Set Color of Title to Red if the following conditions are met:
If the Tags column has value: Sample Book

Really easy (an easy to get carried away). Coloring adds performance load. not bad if the library is small but you will notice on big Libraries

@theducks, that would be perfect ... if only I could figure out how to add a Tags column to the Kindle device screen.

It seems impossible to do, even though Calibre can see that the book has tags.

You can't configure the Device view, but the same books are marked in Library view. To see only those books: search: ondevice:true
