Noreve sucks

Hello all,
I had done the payment for my Kobo Aura HD case from Noreve on 23rd June, Vintage Ambition Chataigne. Got an email confirmation immediately, order was confirmed. I had contacted Cynthia of Noreve after that for delivery confirmation, and I got the attached email below from her. She confirmed herself, in 14 days delivery will be made. Its 7/7/14, paid 50 Euros on such a crap company. Sent her email 2 days back, but no reply. Sent her an email again today, if she doesn't reply this time, I am going to file a dispute with my bank. I study in a boarding law school, and I've come home for the vacations, and now they're coming to an end and I needed a case desperately, and this company is not helpful at all. Out of 5, I will give it -5 for their ridiculous, pathetic, feckless attitude towards customers. God, I am so frustrated over this.

Why doesn't someone ever published an article about this crap company, its a time tested method, that always works. Sends shocks to the company's bosses at the right places.

23 June was a MONDAY; 30 June is 5 days, 7 July is 10 days, 14 July is 15 days (and this is assuming there were no holidays in that time period).

If you are studying LAW, an ability to READ and INTERPRET accurately the information you are presented is very important.

THIS. Since you're a big legal eagle and all, why didn't you read the terms you were agreeing to at the time of placing the order?

6.2 Transit time
Depends on the carrier chosen by the customer.
The company Innovacases informs its customers that the transit times given are those provided by the carriers.

The company Innovacases reminds customers that such transit times do not include Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.

Also, you sent an email 2 days ago and have not yet received a reply? It's been the weekend. They reply during business hours. They're the things that make up working days.

You need to relax. Double check that you gave them the right address, and then just chill out.

No one needs an ebook-reader case "desperately", so stop behaving like a whining snot with a huge sense of entitlement and read up about the terms before you buy. Noreve offers a huge selection of colours for their cases. You cannot expect them to have everything available for immediate delivery - and they say so very clearly on their homepage.
I bought a Noreve case for my PRS-650 three years ago. Use it daily. Hauled it all over Europe on business and private vacation trips. Carried it in my jacket pocket, a document case, various backpacks. Took it to the beach. Still looks like new and the quality is miles ahead of any other case I ever bought.
If only all companies sucked like that and gave me such "crap" for my money.

In what way are they a "crap company"? Their delivery estimate has not yet been breached, so what is it that you're complaining about exactly?

First of all, I apologize for not reading the terms and conditions properly. But, it doesn't matter much, as I had been promised delivery(not shipping) within 14 days, as I've checked the status of my order, it is still in pending state, so there are zero chances of getting the product delivered on time giving due consideration to the correct working days.

CommonReader, first of all learn to argue logically and be objective. By reading my post you clearly understood that I had misinterpreted 14 working days to 14 days. But, still you started your post by saying, no one needs a case desperately, to that I would say please don't reply on behalf of the world. There could be many reasons one could need a case, "desperately". My reason is that I am a very rough handler.
Secondly, instead of telling me I am mistaken, you started by saying that not everything can be shipped immediately and stuff. Did you lead me to finding my mistake? No
Thirdly, after all this you started boasting about the company's products, you use it wherever you go, beaches, vacations and stuff. Since when did I complain about the company's products? I know their quality, I research before I buy. My complain was about delivery, I was already mistaken about the working days and reading posts by people on mobileread about similar issues made me write this. Since, I thought it is a widespread issue.
Fourthly, what did you mean when you were saying "Carried it in my jacket pocket, a document case, various backpacks." Everyone knows you can carry cases in your pockets, bags and stuff. What is the relevance of this? Carrying your case in your pockets, documents and "various backpacks" doesn't affect the case at all.

All this shows you need to get a life. Go out, hang out, that should relieve the negativity you have in you.

Just shot a mail to them apologizing about my earlier email asking for a refund. I concede it was my mistake but the people who posted here, could have shown a little courtesy and dignity in writing these comments. It seemed like some of you're lives depend on howling at people who are slightly mistaken about a fact. Being in a law school, doesn't make one impervious to mistakes, go to any lawyer you consider to be great, they'll tell you the mistakes which they've committed over their life in their legal career. It will be an eye opener to you.
