Michener's Hawaii on sale for $.99

If you've ever wanted to try out a James Michener doorstop novel, Amazon US has Hawaii on sale for $.99.

Yes, that's less than a buck. You can't argue that you're not getting plenty of words for your money.

Many of his works are now in e-print or coming into e-print in the next couple of weeks.

Still waiting on Tales Of The South Pacific...

I've never heard of this, but it sounds good! Thank you for sharing!

This is also $0.99 at Kobo, B&N, and iBooks.

It's been years since I read that. The nice thing about historical fiction is that it doesn't matter if it's 20-30 years old. I've read most of Michener's books and enjoyed them. 99 cents is a steal

I first read Hawaii many years ago in high school. I remember I was buying all kinds of books (some things never change), and I saw Hawaii sitting on the shelf. I remember thinking that a long book cost about the same as a short book but would obviously take much longer to read. I enjoyed it very much, and I've now purchased the ebook, as well as various other Michener titles, as I very much enjoy his writing. I also have several of his books on pre-order from Amazon.

Thanks for the information!
