Failed to Compile
W7, CS6: Trying to convert small test epub file created in InDesign to mobi via Kindle Previewer, I get "failed to compile" with these details:
************************************************** *********** Amazon kindlegen(Windows) V2.8 build 0208-797bf75 A command line e-book compiler Copyright Amazon.com and its Affiliates 2013 ************************************************** *********** Info:I9026 ption: (hidden) amazon creator tool or pipelineInfo:I9014 ption: -verbose: Verbose outputInfo(prcgen):I1048: Unpacking ePub file ************************************************** ******** Interestingly, when I convert the file to html5 via a plugin (in5), it compiles (with errors but that's not the problem). Any suggestions as to why it won't compile the epub created by InDesign? Paul |

Did you validate the epub with epubcheck online?

No, that's likely the problem. I was fooled because it did work with the html file but not the epub. I'll validate the epub and try again.
