Metadata Error

I just installed version 0.8.46 and now I cannot seem to download any metadata. It's hangs and then eventually gives me any error message. I have checked to make sure all my plugins are up to date and I restarted my computer. I am running Windows 7. Here is the error message details:

Make sure you allow calibre-parallel.exe through your firewall
