Best of luck to all the folks in Queensland - the news is reading more like the plot for a disaster movie at the moment.

For anyone around Rockhampton etc, hopefully the flooding is going down now and your homes are safe. For those around Brisbane, Ispwich and Toowoomba, good luck and hopefully you don't need the sandbags!

River in Ipswich to peak today at 20.5 m - that's about the same as 1974. Ipswich evacuate heaps of people so no lifes should be lost. House different story.

Brisbane River to peak tomorrow morning 4 am - no idea how high yet.

Too many people in Lockyer valley (flash flood from Toowomba) still missing - last count was 90.

My heart goes out to all effected. At least no rain atm

They said to 5.5 metres. It's currently just over 4 metres.
