Hanging on StartUp

Greetings

Running the latest update of Calibre on Ubuntu 22.04.

Everything has been faultless until now.

Since the last update, when I start Calibre I just get a message "Calibre Starting Up, please wait" and then nothing. Even after 10 minutes (JIC it was a TCP timeout).

If I use a different login then Calibre starts up normally.

How do I recover my library please? Is there any way I can get some diagnostics rather than just the blank silence.

to start in debug mode.

Hello,

I think I might have the same issue. I have Windows 10. I get the message Calibre is opening, but then it does nothing. If I hover over the icon on the task bar, it only shows a white screen. Is this the same problem?

I've tried removing my library. I had Calibre repaired, I removed it and installed it again. It keeps giving me the issue.
How can I start Calibre in debug mode?

Thank you. I get 'Module Readline not available'. Either it is not the same problem, or, more likely, I don't have the knowledge to use it.

When you held down the Windows key on your keyboard and pressed the R key, did a popup box like the attached image show up? If so, did you type 'calibre-debug -g' (without the quotes) in the open box and hit enter or clicked on OK?
