The remote page turner is the perfect solution to the problem of some people wanting buttons and some not wanting buttons. we can go back to the Kobo Aura H2O type design with no buttons and if anyone wants buttons, you can buy buttons.
Problem solved! |

Apart from the fact it's another item for me to carry, and I kind of wonder whether the press either page turn option to wake would be present.

For me, I find the wider bezel with the buttons makes my Forma, Sage & Libra Colour more comfortable to hold.

Nope. The remote would be an additional thing to hold. I'm nearsighted and cannot read with the ereader propped up on the table, that's too far for me. I have to hold it in my hand. So I don't want to hold a remote too.

Some people have a use for a page turn remote, but most don't. I expect it would also impact run time between charges far more than the same gadget on a phone or tablet. I prefer buttons and they can easily be ignored. Not too hard to even cut the covers off and fill as the real buttons/switches are below the front panel. However some ereaders have flush page turn buttons, e. g. Pocketbook and old K3. |

Maybe we can adapt one of those BT music page turner pedals for you.

But a good quality Dutch brand BT mouse costs €12 locally and this is €30 + shipping. The mouse is way more complicated with optical X-Y movement, wheel and THREE buttons.
