Not sure I'd do that. Lithium batteries are rather nasty when they catch fire (i.e. from overheating).

But it can catch fire or explode while not being charged. Good luck to you. I would not be risking it at all. What if you were to be using it in an enclosed space such as a plane and it exploded?
