That is a little frightening. I keep thinking of old people with money who buy books buy the page count flying these things around. Being pretty old myself and on occasion easily distracted I would not want to see me to be flying by mind control.

Plus what if one's stutters mentally on occasion. My mama gets caught in endless loops.

Does look like fun, but I will stick to the nose and hope I don't sneeze.

Upcoming is vague. It might not be this year it's released. Anyhow, I agree that the Kindle PW is plenty thin already. (If you don't have a Kindle, would a "remarkably thin" version inspire you to switch?) If it's remarkably light, though, I might consider an upgrade from my current PW2.

No it won't....

The PW2 already has a better screen/light than the Aura. And the SD card slot of the Aura is most unlikely to be in the next PW. The freedom bit, yeah whatever, if that keeps you happy! If you mean it'll be smaller and lighter with a flush screen, then yes, you may well be right. That's pretty much all the 'innovating' they are doing right now
